KRISHNA: THE MYTHOLOGICAL HERO

Kalakunj has successfully completed its Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) project, Krishna: The Mythological Hero in 2017-18. The educational heritage project aimed to explore the mythological entity, Krishna as interpreted in dance, music, art, literature and philosophy. This project engaged volunteers based in Reading to conduct visits to the museums, library and heritage site; and held workshops, seminar and performances involving heritage dance and music interpreters; and finally achieved the creation of a permanent online resource for the public.
